Customer Story Liquidation in the Loop

Furniture removal in the heart of Chicago, in a historic building no less, comes with its own challenges – but the OFR team seamlessly executed this recent liquidation seamlessly. Nearly 600 rolling chairs, 300 lounge & stacking chairs, and a trailer load of training tables & height adjustable desks were removed from this workspace in just a few days during this liquidation and decommission project led by Tony Petoske, Decommission Specialist at Office Furniture Resources.

All the furniture OFR removed will be resold or repurposed, saving resources & energy while limiting landfill contributions. Ensuring liquidations & decommissions are practiced sustainably is a top priority, and through this project OFR saved 4 trailer loads of furniture from potentially getting sent to landfill.
