350+ furniture items donated to Triangle ReStores in North Carolina!
The ReStores are run by Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, and the proceeds benefit Habitat’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in several surrounding NC counties.
ReStores are also committed to environmental stewardship, keeping usable items out of landfills – an approach that closely aligns with OFR’s own landfill diversion program.
As a facilitator in used furniture donations, we work with our liquidation & decommission clients to find their furniture a new home at company-preferred local non-profits such as Triangle ReStores & Habitat for Humanity of Wake County.
With our L&D client, we helped donate…
- 150 task chairs
- 40 lounge seating
- 100 bookcases
- & much more!
Used furniture donations are one of the many sustainable ways to decommission office spaces responsibly – it gives perfectly good commercial furniture a second life, saving it from landfill.
Many thanks to Triangle ReStores for accepting our donation, and to our sales representative/project leader Carrie Dvorak, who expertly guided the liquidation, decommission, and donation.
