A Message From OFR CEO, Stephanie Darrow – Leadership Promotions

A letter from Office Furniture Resources’ Chief Executive Officer / President, Stephanie Darrow:

Thank you to everyone for the outpouring support you have extended to me over the last few weeks. It has been a constant reminder of how great our customers and vendors truly are! I couldn’t have gotten here without all of you, so for that I thank you.

I am truly excited for the future at OFR. What makes me especially excited about the future is the strength of the team we have in place and the opportunities ahead of us. As our industry continues to evolve, we are focused on continuing to improve how we serve our customers, how we operate, and how we grow – all while staying true to the values that have defined OFR from the beginning. We have a strong foundation, a talented team, and a clear vision for where we’re headed.

We’re fortunate to have incredibly strong talent at OFR. As we move into this next chapter and continue to build on our strong foundation at OFR, I’m excited to share some additional updates to our executive management team. These key leaders will play an instrumental role in driving our continued growth and delivering exceptional services to our customers.

Cyndi Laabs has been with OFR for over a decade and has been a steady, trusted leader within our accounting team. She has helped guide the financial side of our business with consistency, integrity, and attention to detail – but just as importantly, she understands how our company operates at its core. Cyndi leads in a way that reflects who we are as a company, and her impact has played a meaningful role in where we are today. I’m excited to have her by my side as we move forward.

Rodrigo Murillo has been with OFR for over two decades, and there’s truly no part of our operations he hasn’t touched. From working on the ground level to leading major efforts, he understands our business – and how the work gets done – better than just about anyone. For years, he has led our operations team with consistency, ownership, and leadership that has made a real impact. He’s earned the respect of those he works with and leads by example every day. I have a great deal of confidence in Rodrigo as he continues to strengthen how we operate as a company.

Jesus Alvarado‘s journey at OFR reflects what this company is all about. Starting in our warehouse, he has grown through the organization and developed a deep understanding of both our business and our customers. In recent years, his leadership of our project management team has had a clear and positive impact. He not only understands how to run projects, but how to communicate with customers and navigate challenges in a way that reflects the quality and standards we’re known for. I’m confident he will continue to lead our projects – and our team – to a high level of success.

These promotions reflect who we are as a company – we believe in growing our people, investing in them, and recognizing the contributions that move us forward.

Just as importantly, what makes OFR special is not changing. Our values, our commitment to our customers, and the way we do business remain at the core of everything we do. This is about building on what already works and continuing to move forward together.
