Challenges

Kapco needed to fit a department into an existing small mezzanine space that at first glance seemed too challenging. But they were very driven to get the team members who were scattered throughout the building, together in one space for better creative work and collaboration.

Solutions

OFR designed a compact yet ergonomic cubicle with powered adjustable height desks, vertical storage file towers, and a cleverly placed bonus shelf. Fully adjustable dual monitor arms doubled the usable desk surface. Using glass-topped cubicle walls helped make the small space lighter and brighter, allowing the nearby natural light to flood the space.

Highlights

To tap into this departments creative vibe, their team selected super fun and colorful fabrics for the reupholstered Herman Miller chairs and mobile file cabinets.
